Faith Inkubators Endowment

THE FAITH INKUBATORS ENDOWMENT
The Faith Inkubators Endowment will fund three areas of ministry, and one distribution technology:

Leadership in Christian Youth Arts, with a focus on drawing out the artistic gifts of young people and sharing their music, visual arts, drama and writing talents to celebrate the Christian faith and enhance worship with their own congregations first and the world second. This will be accomplished through a series of annual contests in 25 categories and special arts camps where winners of the contests are invited to polish their skills with world-class adult Christian artists, musicians, writers and dramatists.

Leadership in Christian Education Systems Change, with a focus on dreaming, designing and testing innovative educational models and programs that draw parents into the role of primary faith guides, mentors and role models for their own children with church as reinforcement – not replacement – of the faith nurturing duties. This will be accomplished through the annual granting of three-six month sabbaticals to visionary leaders who wish to spend focused time customizing plan for their own congregation and who will return to implement that plan, reporting their processes, progress and problems online for the world to see. Recipients of the sabbatical must also agree to serve as advisor/consultant to a future recipient the following year.

Congregational Leadership Training, with a focus on recruiting, training, and nurturing Christian pastors, youth workers, and lay leaders in initiating and sustaining family-centered models of faith nurture. This will be accomplished through one-time grants for transportation, food, and lodging (not registration) to Christian education task forces and teams wishing to attend Christian education conferences and return to their local congregations to initiate systemic change from church-centered models to family-centered models.

Distribution Technology, with a focus on harnessing the power of current and future media to:
• Share the youth worship arts (above) with the world
• Share the innovative thought from our sabbatical leaders (above) with the world
• Share innovative Christian education training (above) with the world
